Du vendredi 10 au mardi 14 octobre 2025
In her teaching, Kia weaves an embodied approach to Ashtanga Yoga with classical Pranayama from the Kaivalyadham lineage, as well as Buddhist mindfulness and compassion practices. During the immersion, we explore these somatic teachings as pathways to insight—inviting us to awaken our heart through the wisdom of our body.
Whether engaging with Asana, Pranayama, or the Buddha Dharma, we work from a non-dogmatic, inclusive, and creative space—open to personal inquiry. This approach supports each practitioner in cultivating transformative tools and embodied resources, allowing practice to grow from a place of deep authenticity and clear understanding.
“The practice of yoga is not about transcending our physical embodiment, but about becoming truly intimate with every facet of this multi-dimensional universe we inhabit.”
– Kia Naddermier
Kia will guide us through traditional Pranayamas, Buddhist meditations, and Dharma teachings, and take us on a dynamic and explorative journey of Ashtanga Yoga.
We will meet these transformative practices with curiosity and creativity—allowing them to inform and inspire us, regardless of current experience.
Whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced, this workshop welcomes all interested practitioners and teachers. Mysore classes require an established self-practice.
Merci de noter que les classes peuvent se terminer 15 minutes plus tôt ou plus tard que prévu.
Le workshop sera en Anglais
Kia will be assisted in all classes by Lise de la Brosse.

Master Class: An Embodied Approach to Ashtanga Yoga
Saturday & Sunday 9.00-12.00
In these dynamic practice sessions, we develop a deeper understanding for Ashtanga Yoga as an instrument for insight, inviting us to illuminate our heart through the intelligence of our body.
We move through key elements of our sequence with an explorative mindset, looking at common physical and energetic actions to help cultivate an attuned practice rooted in yogic principles.
These profoundly comprehensive master classes will open up new dimensions in your practice that we will continue to expand on in the Mysore sessions that follow the weekend.
Asana Inquiry: Awareness, Principles & Skills
Saturday 14.00-16.30/17.00
Cultivation of internal and physical awareness- and observation skills lie at the heart of an embodied approach to Ashtanga Yoga. When we allow the beauty and form of each Asana to be an invitation for inquiry, we open our practice to endless new pathways for learning and growth.
This session is designed to support teachers and practitioners wishing to develop practical skills and clear understanding of the art of alignment, adjustments – and to uncover the dynamics that shape the methods we teach and learn through.
